Why Tender Nest?
Birth education that is fluid, goes beyond medical paradigms, and is rooted in trust and confidence.
At Tender Nest, you’ll learn from Megan Wilde (they/them)—a trauma-informed prenatal & postpartum yoga teacher, childbirth educator, and doula with decades of experience serving diverse birthing communities.
Megan’s approach is:
Inclusive: affirming for queer, trans, gender-expansive, and all families
Somatic: body-literate & rooted in your lived experience
Mindful: blending evidence-based knowledge with nervous system care
You deserve support that sees you for who you are and meets you where you are.
“The thought & care that you put into creating it were so apparent; we learned so much, & came out of the weekend feeling much more prepared for our baby’s arrival. It was a privilege to spend the weekend in such a gentle, deeply educational container.”
“My partner and I deeply valued the opportunity to connect with one another in such an intentional way!”
“I felt like birth was demystified. I appreciated the concrete material alongside stories of these things happening in practice. I just had no idea what this would all look like, and it's nice having a picture in my mind now (knowing anything could happen!). I feel much more prepared than before I took the class.”
“Megan held a queer learning space in a way that allowed us to feel seen more deeply than in any other birth space.”

Not at all. While Tender Nest is a great resource for people birthing for the first time, it’s also a deeply supportive space for those who’ve birthed before—especially if you’ve had a challenging or traumatic birth, or if you would simply like a dedicated space to prepare for your next birth.
This class is also welcoming to people who’ve experienced pregnancy loss, including miscarriage or stillbirth.
